I was pissed at first, but I started thinking about when we were putting in our order for bowl tickets. I gladly put in a MCB ticket order and reserved 2 hotel rooms in Nashville(did this for ATL, Dallas, and Nashville), and it was great. As long as we didn't end up in Memphis or Birmingham which would have meant we totally **** the bed, I was good to go. Well here we are, so big f'in deal. Somebody in this conference gets hosed every year. I do feel bad for the team because they deserve a better bowl, but as for me, I plan on having a damn good time, and watching us beat an ACC team's *** while UT and Floridaembarrassthe conference.<div>

Is why I would hope the bowls like the Outback have some common sense and don't take teams too much out of order. I know the Outback is thinking of Florida's fans but do they really want a game where the Florida team gets the crap kicked out of them? I know if I'm watching a bowl game and it is a blowout, I'm less likely to watch.

I would hope the SEC office would step in for similar reasons.

the players, coaches, and fans deserve it. Hell, the fans did their part - record attendance 2 years in a row. And obviously, the team did their part.

Beating a Michigan or Florida State means a lot more than playing the 7th ranked acc team. We may as well not go nobody is even going to be watching the MCB anyway.

We lead the nation in increased attendance last year. Have recorded all sellouts this year. Also, I don't think there is a bowl we haven't sold out atleast our allotment.

We may very well end up in the Chick Fil A or Gatorand not have to worry about the Music City, but if we do go to Nashville, everyone needs to know that the fan base MSU brings will be the one that the bowls in 2011 will be looking at for reference on how well we will support their bowl.

I wish I could remember exactly how he describes it, but when Mullentalks about champions he talks about people that want to be champions and then people who actually dowhat it takes to be champions. As a fan base, we have to prescribe to this as well. We did it by packing the stands at DWS. We need to do the same at whatever bowl we attend.

It sucks if we drop down now that we see how the season played out for all teams involved, but the MCB was something I think most people expected if we only won 1 of our last 3. I'm definitely not saying people don't have a right to be pissed off, but I think not going to the game out of spite or thinking Mullen will leave because of it is a little over the top.

You should run your own message board.

Anyway, this is what pisses me off about all of this. Why should UT and UF go to better bowls when we've earned the right to go to a better bowl? I feel worse for the team than anyone else.
