I wish he would do that a little more. When he isn't hitting 3's, hehas the tendency to get out of theflow of the offenseand keeps shooting till he makes them. He needs to keep driving to open up the 3.

Obviously there are different types of athletic, but he's the one guy on our team I'd buy a ticket to watch in a dunk contest.

As long as he isn't in a dribbling or catching contest, Vern is good to go. The dunk on th ebreak off JV's block wasfilthy.

I was looking at some of the pictures posted and was thinking that I've seen crackheads with more fat on them, but the guy can outright play.

But he has a lot more in him than what he shows.

He could be hell on wheels if he developed that slashing game more. At this point, he basically reminds me of Michael Ignerski (sits back to nail threes and will occasionally go in for the baseline jam), and he should be better than that - he is definitely more athletic than Ignerski.

I just can't call Ravern anywhere close to most athletic on the team the way he plays defense. He doesnt have that quick-twitch reflex like Phil and Barry.

Watching him move, you'd think he'd be the next Charles Rhodes... until he steps on the floor during a game. I thinkhe's got tons of potential, but wish we could have redshirted him. He just looks lost, nervous, etc.

Edit to add the reason I posted in the thread to begin with -- I wish Ravern had been in Lewis's place on that fast break when he missed a freakin layup. That would've made 2 sweet highlight dunks on the night.
