I doubt the 36-packs-a-day habit had something to do with it.

I hate that for his boys......they argued like cats but still had a great deal of respect for him. He was a tough, salty old dude.

that's terrible. he was my favorite guy on the show.. that's tough for his boys. I wonder is his first mate, Roger, will captain the boat. you can bet guys like Capt. Phil would rather have the Bering Sea take them rather than go out like he did.<div>

I wouldn't want to do it. He and Sig are probably my two favorite captains on that show.

what the hellI was talking about. My favorite TV show other than sports. I really liked Captain Phil. He was a man`s man as all the tough bastards that earn their living up there crab fishingare. RIP Capt. Phil.

That or the 36 cases of Red Bull per day. Damn sad, though - he was my 2nd favorite Captain (Sig being the 1st).

in Collierville they had 10 lb boxes of opelio for 39.99 (with your kroger plus card, of course). not sure if the same deal is runnin or not. 3.99 a pound is a helluva deal for crab.
