Why wouldn't they be going after DeAngelo Hall? Salary cap?

Raiders: Hall a free agent The News
DeAngelo Hall has cleared waivers and has become an unrestricted free agent, according to NFL.com. The Steelers, Patriots, Redskins, and Giants are all said to be interested in Hall.

salary cap is one. locker room cancer is two. something about a 'must play' clause he can put in his contract. he will command an outrageous salary he isn't worth. the raiders just paid him 8 million for 8 games.

I'll pass on him.

I was unaware considering I am neither a Raider fan, nor a DeAngelo Hall fan. I appreciate the replies.

he is the only cb on the Saints roster that makes one long for the Fred Thomas days to be back

He is great in a nickel or dime package. Just not as an every down corner.

The guy is not an every down cover corner. Once the D coaches figure that out, he will be effective.

he is being paid "everydown" cb money.....not nickel or dime cb money

he came from a primarilty cover 2 defense where he had safety help over the top 80-90% of the time.....he gets to new orleans and the saints find out real quick he should nt be put on an island 1 on 1 with a receiver.....

but he has played better this year although he has been beaten a few times
