Why the 17 have we not given this idiot DeVinner a cease and desist? This slander may end up being just that, but we shouldn't just let him keep dragging our name through the mud. This bad press is hurting our brand....how long do we wait to hit back? I understand we can't defend ourselves publicly due to an ongoing investigation, but we should at least be able to make him STFU. somebody do their job!!!!!!! 17!!!!!!

Well this AD staff actually hasn't been the best at dealing with the NCAA so I wouldn't really say we should trust they're always making the right move. Bracky needs to go pronto.

Yes dealing with story for months. DeVinner just started running his mouth. All I'm saying is shut his *** up instead of allowing him to continue talking to every media outlet in the country. Quietly send him a STFU (cease and desist) and then continue what we've been doing for months.
His credibilty doesn't seem to bother radio stations in Mississippi and Tennessee, Pat Forde, Locke, Marcello, VZ, and ESPN.
The negative pub hurts us, no way to spin it. If something comes out that slightly vindicates us I wonder if it gets the same coverage?

Well, he did just come out from under his rock last night. So maybe it is taking the AD's attorney a day to draft the letter. Also, you got to find the SOB to serve him. No telling where the SOB is.
With all that said, if he is going to continue to name every player on our team and make accusations........the AD's office has to have a presser tomorrow to nip this in the bud. Telling the Redmond story was one thing.......now continuing to name other players and make accusations after he said Redmond was all he knew about. I know most sane people realize he is lying. But these media outlets are continuing to report his story and air his calls. It is time for the AD's office to offer some rebuttal.
