and could not remember where I saw it but I have plagerized it several times since BUT, I too now have to revise my saying!!

like the two were about on par with each other. I've always thought the Saints' chances of a superbowl victory were about on par with the chances of State winning a NC.
I'm still in shock. The Saints won the super bowl. And did it in convincing fashion, mowing down 4 probable HOF quarterbacks and another, not as good, super bowl winner.

MSU is the only other team I give a crap about (okay, maybe the Griz), so we are due one. I can wait.
I think being a Red Sox / Saints / MSU fan in my developing years permanently damaged me. Can you think of a worse combination in the 80's? Roger Clemens was my childhood hero and he turned out to be a cheating, lying, child molesting, traitor. At least I am getting some redemption as I grow older.
