The U 34, Clarksdale 0 in the 4th. Clarksdale only had 28 yards of total offense last I heard. Not final yet, and I'm not going to bother listening to the final stats. The Streak lives.

/I'll still be shocked if we beat Apopka

Not taking anything away from South Panola, but isn't Clarksdale supposedly down this year?

(USP beat them when they were up anyway)

I actually hope USP beats Apopka.

Apopka should win by at least 14. He also said if the return game happens next year South Panola will win that one.

I assume they are ranked highly nationally. Are they higher than SP? And where are they from? Yeah, I could google it.

is a school in Florida. I'm pretty sure they aren't ranked higher than us, but FL offense > MS defense, especially without Willis Wright at DC. If we had Willis, I'd be much less concerned. I'm not shocked to hear he said Apopka should win this year. We're still good, but not as good as maybe the last 5 years. There's talent, but the OL is really young. 4 sophomores starting up front. It's hard with that kind of inexperience. I still wouldn't bet aGAINST us repeating. And if the return game with Apopka happens next year, I think we win. But I'll be worried about QB next year, whereas I think we're pretty good at QB this year, so meh.

if Olive Branch (I hate them too) can beat Pahokee, then South Panola can beat Apokpa. Now go make Mississippi proud.

Thou shalt not speak ill of Willis Wright. The man started our program's dominance. Willis is maybe the best HS I've ever seen. Pogue is good, but to say he's equal to Willis is very, very premature at this point. Willis won multiple state championships with multiple teams in multiple states. This is only Pogue's second year coaching in the big boy division. So until he gets a few more rings, Willis >>> Pogue. Of course, I'll give Pogue his due. Last night's defensive performance aGAINST Clarksdale and last week's aGAINST Vicksburg were nothing short of dominant. He's certainly doing a good job so far.

Olive Branch can't even take their recruited public school all stars from Memphis combined with their MS players and beat a private school from Memphis. MUS beat them last night.
