Did anyone notice the extremely low flying jet hat passed over DWS at the beginning of the 4th quarter? Looked like a commercial airliner that came from the West and was flying very slow. Does anyone know what the deal with that was?

Yeah I saw it. No idea, but it had robe landing at GTR or Columbus. I thought it might have been a bomber landingin Columbus. Either way, was strange because there aren't any airports for 100+ miles.

According to Flight Aware, it was a Arkansas' team charter (American Airlines 757) coming in from DFW to pick them up at GTR

While at State in the early 90's I saw the Space Shuttle being ferried back to Fla after landing in Cali. Strange sight to look up and see the Shuttle riding piggyback across the Mississipppi sky. They were real low and going to refuel in Columbus.

It left headed west

About 3 hours after the game. Assumed it was the charter flight for the hogs?

The team flies everywhere past Birmingham (they fly to Auburn... well... Montgomery... and Baton Rouge). We haven't played in Fayetteville since the 90s. We fly to LR when we play there.

That's good to hear. BTW ... I think Auburn has a fairly major airstrip, so they may indeed fly into there. It's not a commercial airport, but then Montgomery barely is either.

And I knew we played in Little Rock ... brain fart. Wish we didn't though.

The only reason we will fly into Montgomery instead of Auburn is because the team stays in Montgomery the night before the game (kind of like when we will stay in Columbus when we go to Tuscaloosa or Tupelo when we play in Oxford). Auburn is just small enough to get our players in trouble.
