For those of you that watched the Masters

It seems to me that the announcers are doing a lot more talking this year in between shots. That takes away from the broadcast if you ask me. I particularly enjoy hearing the piano with the birds chirping in the background. I didn't hear as much of that today. That to me, is one of my favorite things about the Masters.

I think that's just the difference betweenthe styles of ESPN and CBS

I'm sure the piano music, the birds and Jim Nantz whispering will be in full effect on Saturday and Sunday.

Good points and I think there's gonna be a lotta players in the hunt on Sunday this year so they're gonna be changing shots so fast they aren't gonna have time to say much. Freddy starts fast again, man I hope he has one more run in him.

Hope you're right. I will be DVR'ing it and hope to use if as sleep sounds for a good 3 months after its over.

Announcers for the Masters have to be wary. They don't want to be the next Gary McCord and get banned for life.

I actually really like McCord, especially when him and Feherty are bantering back and forth. But I agree his announcing persona doesn't fit with the Masters.
