For those of you with unused tickets to the Gator Bowl - Donate them

Since there seem to be a number of people ordering tickets just to get points for the bulldog club, and the resale value is minimal, I would suggest donating them to a local Jacksonville charity. You get a tax write off, get butts in the seats, and some people get to go to a game who wouldn't otherwise. I have attached a link to a list of local charities in Jacksonville.

eventhough I preordered tix... I may just unload them this way.

That's an excellent idea. I have 2 tickets out of my 10 that are going unused. Now I know what to do with them.

It is a great idea but you may want to hold on before doing it on your own. Mike Richey, associate AD Tweeted today in response to a Twitter question about this very subject that "we have reached out to groups in J'ville & working w/ Gator Bowl. More info coming" I'll respond again if I see anything else about it because I plan to do this too.
