Why was the decision made to make cups and ice only available to those who pay for the club area. That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard of. I pay for season tickets, but am not allowed to have a plastic cup and ice - complete b.s.

I think it’s because they went to quick service concessions. Fountain drinks and cups and ice slow it down too much. It’s never been a big deal to me. I always want a bottle drink.

Speaking of bottled drinks, when you buy a bottle of coke in the SuperDome in NOLA, they make you take the cap off the bottle and put it in a bucket there at the register.

WTH?

I generally sip on a bottled soda throughout the game.

I guess a damn Saints fan sued because somebody threw a bottle cap? Or slipped on one that had been dropped on the floor?

I think the idea is a full bottle with cap on is a lot easier to throw and hurt someone. Cap off and most of the liquid just comes out in the air or on impact

Maybe. They couldn't tell me why the cap had to come off.

I would have gotten a fountain drink had I known.

Customers have to scan their own items also. And it is card only.

I think so. Same thing when I went to the UMass game in Foxboro. I was slightly annoyed but no big deal.

Same thing happened to me at a game once. The person behind the counter said they have to take the caps because someone could throw a full bottle with the cap on and it could hurt someone.

FedEx forum does it too. Can’t remember about Nissan but I think so.
With beer anyway. Never had a soda at a game.
