What do you think he will be looking for in an AD? Personally,I hope it is a very open minded search and decision. Greg Byrne was an exciting AD to have, great vision and ideas..but (and please don't take this the wrong way) we do not need to try to find Greg Byrne 2.0. Not because he left after 2 years, but because there is no such thing.
We at MSU have been stuck with the same mindset with things for so long- I think we really don't know how hirings go across the nation..and just the thought of a successful coach or AD leaving our University scares the crap out of people like there is no other soul on the planet that can fill that particular position. There are gonna be many candidates interview for the job- a handful will be a capable to do a good job, maybe one or two a great job. Hopefully we will get the one that fits us best.
And if you answer the question, please don't use the word progressive...I hate that word nowadays.
