read the quotes posted on this page that he made 1-3 months ago and realize that throwing out ******** accusations about a kids mom had that much of an effect on his opinion of the entire MSU fanbase.. Hope you are proud of what fine human beings you are.

But if CJ really got his feeling hurts by posts on facebook he needs to dust the sand out of his ****** and grow up. And if he's really that sensitive of a human, there's a privacy button to restrict your profile and a reject button when strange people try to friend him. If he didn't know those were there, he's an idiot as well.

I get what you are saying but at the same time, like I keep saying, line those people up.

it doesn't excuse CJ either, he brought most of that on himself and hopefully it will be a lesson going forward for him, other prospects and adult douchebags.

I'll acknowledge that and be the first to call somebody out for that. But, it's not like it's hard to prevent unwanted messages in the first place. As far as I'm aware, nobody can send me messages or wall posts because of my privacy settings. I'm not friends with people I don't know - and if I was, they definitely wouldn't have access to certain parts of my profile. Can you send messages to mail boxes without being friends first? If so, I take back what I said about the idiot part, but not the sandy ****** part.

Facebook was just the medium... idiots would have started heckling him as soon as he made the public decommitment in some form. Also I would bet part of it was to see what the reaction would be (ego) but didn't expect how many *%@#@*% loser MSU fans are out there ready to make an *** of themselves.

But to your "sand in the ******" comment.. this is the kids mom. And as you know his dad is dead so mom is all he's got. I had a situation in my family where my mom was accused by a family member, copying other family members, of embezzling from a family fund... it wasn't true and I haven't talked to any of those family members in the 6 years since then.. and they've tried a lot.

Calling him a ***** is just an easy excuse.. If that is what happened... I don't blame him..

I remember it being a message board topic at the time and it being part of one of Croom's classes. I can't find any articles on MSU recruits signing from jail. Did it actually happen? I figured whoever our Veazy at the time was would have reported it...

he didn't actually sign from jail but there was a worry he would be in jail on signing day so the rumor/joke was he was going to sign it from his jail cell.

I probably would have just left with a "17 you." I'm not going to fight for a woman that cheats on me. It's not worth it.

It's the internet. People by now know people say terrible God-awful things when behind a key board. I've been called worse things on this message board than anyone has ever called me to my face. It's fine - because it doesn't matter. Of course, I'd have a different feeling if those same things were said to me to my face by friends and/or family. Those people actually matter. All of you *** holes don't - this is for entertainment. It's an entirely different situation. If you can't function based on what people said to you on the internet (via any forum), you have got problems.

I've never tried to message somebody I didn't know - I just assumed you couldn't.

The choice not to read or react to messages remains though...

^^ That kind of language is politically incorrect today. You know, the Sarah Palin and the "crosshairs" thing...

Just sayin'.

in this situation I think he does mean line them up and shoot them. Or at least I hope, because I do..

If I had any more time on my hands, I could try putting it in a MS Paint flowchart or something, but that'll have to wait.

1) Take off your MSU/OM blinders and look at the recruit as a high-school kid about to make his first "big-boy" decision in his life.
1a) Imagine that the football recruit is your own son, and act toward the recruit like you'd want other strangers to act toward your own son.

2) Is the recruit committed / interested in MSU? ===> Yes - Great! We'll glad to have you! Can't wait to see you in maroon and white!
===> No - Too bad! You're missing out on something special. Say hello after we beat you on the field.

3) Did the recruit previously commit to MSU, only to change his mind and commit to someone else?
===> Yes - recruit who? I don't know that name. Not wasting my time worrying about them.

Guys, we are only given so many minutes on this Earth, and I'll be damned if I'm going to waste a lot of time worrying about where some 17/18 year old kid goes. Remember the article I posted a week or two ago about the basketball coaches who all lost their unborn children? Remember how for about half an hour, everybody was like, "Thanks, this puts things in perspective! We waste too much time on bitching about sports!" Well that lasted about as long as the "bipartisan spirit" in DC after 9/11.

I refuse to get caught up in the recruiting drama. If a kid accepts an offer to come to State, I'm thankful for him and look forward to seeing him play. But if he chooses to go elsewhere, it's his decision to make and he'll either have made a good one or a bad one, but it's his decision to deal with. Those of you who are parents, are you behaving towards these recruits the way you would want others behaving toward your own kids?

*** Disclaimer: Once they sign with Ole Miss, the die have been cast and for 4 years (or until they transfer or flunk out), they ARE my archrival. I will cheer against them, and laugh to myself when they get in trouble for stealing pillows and alarm clocks. I hope they fail miserably on the football field. But they are still someone's children, and until it is proven that they do something illegal/unethical, prob best to not ridicule them openly on a message board / facebook for it.

here and on Nafoom it appears he communicated regularly on the page with the general public with taunts such as "Will I look good in Reb and Blue or maybe Maroon and White" what do you think? Stuff like that invites physco's to join in. As another poster said a mature person would have just shut down the account until the process was over and all this could have been avoided. Just my opinion as always.

I guess you're right. I would have expected so much more out of an 18 year old that I've never met.

Stop trying to fit your expectations of how people should act into your opinion on their college choice.
