That's all I can say...pitiful. Embarrasing maybe is a better word. I never realized we copied Bama A&M from the SWAC until now.

Even more ridiculous that LT let it happen.

but the point is still valid. if you want to market your brand, you can't have SWAC copycats. what's funny (and sad) is that they at least had the sense to avoid the awful pro-style socks.

this is what they wore in 2006:

I know Sherill has done that before. But if Croom did it, our best guy would only have like 3 stickers at the end of the year.

And I don't know a damn thing about A&M football other than where they play, and that only because it's on a major road. What's funny is whenever a major chain moves into Huntsville they naturally think A&M is the school everyone follows.

but I dont want them again. Clean helmets look better. Plus, when you're trying to push a team mindset you dont need that for individual achievement

Winston Churchill say it is fitting because we played like we were Alabama A&M when he was coaching us.

C'mon guys. Replace the M-State with the Power T and change maroon to Orange.

You now have Tennessee-Knoxville's uniforms.

I had a lot of fun with that when a UTK fan said our new uniforms were hideous in design. That guy was an idiot, though. Most Vol fans loved our Croom-era uniforms.

I thought the Croom uniforms with the white pants looked good. The maroon jersy, white pants, and stockings with the maroon around the calf looked good. It is when he had us wearing the maroon pants (with either jersey) and the white stockings with the thin maroon stripes that looked horrible.

Kentucky's uniform looked a lot better with a white helmet and blue logo as well though. UT uniforms would look good. However, that yellowish orange is just terrible. Obviously though, I like the old school look.

Don't misunderstand me though, our best looking uniforms where 79-85 and 88-95.

I've lived here a long time and have never been to one of their games.

Walking around town, so many Maroon and White Bulldogs NOT from MS A&M.
