Yes, I have partied with him. Even was fortunate enough to play a couple of days of golf with him at a fund raiser a few years back just before he made it big. He never apologizes for being country.

No problems dude. He knows he comes off that way to the stuffed shirt crowd in golf and really doesn't care too much. I don't think he could be "sophisticated" if he life depended on it. He can hit a golf ball though.
