Boyles is going to find winning at Petal with their abundance of white boys a little tougher than the aboundance of talented athleteshe had to work with at Wayne County. He will be lucky to win 4 or 5 games next year at Petal.

Petal has great facilities, possibly the best in the state. However, its going to be really, really hard to win next year without Alford. Buckley knew he took Petal as far as they could go and I think that is why he took the job at Southern Miss.

the MHSAA office it's going to get tougher for coaches to "recruit" talent to their program. The transfers are being scrutinized like never before and some coaches are being watched like a hawk nowadays. It's all sports, not just football. That's just the word I've been hearing out of that office lately.

He's a good coach.

Petal has a really good baseball program, so I'm not sure why traditionally they aren't as good in football.

Yeah, because what high school coach would think that moving to a college coaching staff would be a good career move?

have been sure to be on the baseball team first, and then may consider playing football (if their dad thinks there's a good enough chance they won't get hurt and demolish their draft stock).
