For you Cards Fans - Hot stove is getting hot as HELL

My inside source in Louie says Cards will be getting David Price for Shelby Miller, Oscar Taveras, and a first round pick. GOOD trade if this happens. Pierzynski and him are huge pickups for a deep October run.

Wainwright and Price could go toe to toe with Kershaw and Greinke, but I don't know if Lynn and whoever else is healthy enough to pitch would be able to contain the Dodger bats. That seems like an awfully high price to pay (no pun intended) for David Price. I love price but that's your best young pitcher (with Wacha hurt), your long awaited best prospect AND a first rounder for a season and a half of Price.

I want no part of that deal. That's giving up way too much for a short term fix. Everything I've read has pointed to either Hammels or Lester instead of Price but I just don't want to trade that many good young up and coming players.

I've seen Hamels or Lester. It's a left starter for sure. Phillies were here in memphis according to the twitter looking at Lyons. Who pitched a gem. Who has been really good this year. Talk has been Lyons and piscotty and prob another prospect.
