There is a new study documenting over 86 billion in savings he has removed from the Federal registers by signing regulatory reforms. Let me repeat that over 86 billion dollars in savings.

Do any of you think that he just may have more than paid for all of the weekend visits to his Florida Golf resort that has you all so upset? (not to mention the fact he's also not taking his 400,000/yr Presidential salary?)

And are you a Rightist? You act like leftist is a slur or something. Have fun defending him, your gonna be busy.

That's just rationalizing the expense of his weekly weekend trip to Florida. Imagine how much more he could have saved if he spent those weekends at the WH, you know, like he said he would. Also, $400k pays for him to get to the airport and runs out about the time that the crew starts fueling AF1.

I'm not one to complain about presidents taking vacations. I think it's sad that the same people who slammed Obama for an annual trip to Hawaii are defending Trump's weekly trip to Florida. I'm not saying that you were one of the people complaining about Obama's trips. I don't commit that kind of stuff to memory.

I just thought because you all were apparently now so concerned about wasteful spending, you'd find this chunk of savings encouraging.

Guess good news is still something you all are struggling to deal with when it comes to Trump?

In the zero sum game that is Federal spending to the Left ("what are you going to cut, how are we going to pay for tax cuts"?) I figured the Left's new found fiscal responsibility would be celebrated by Trump managing to wring 86 billion dollars in wasteful regulations out of the Federal register?

So the Left still thinks a weekend trip to Florida does more harm to the Federal balance sheet than cutting nearly 100 billion from it?

New math.

My point is that people who slammed Obama for spending money on trips, some vacation and some official, are silent on Trump's travel expenses. Some people who defended Obama's trips are crying foul on Trump's. I'm not overly concerned by either. I do find some irony in the fact that Trump was one of those complaining about Obama's trips, but he's doing something he said he wouldn't - taking a bunch of vacations and playing golf a lot.

Right. You people will believe anything. If you employed critical thinking the "shocking new study" headline would have told you it was nothing more than click bait. And then if you read the article you'd know that the AAF's "study" was nothing more than a WAG estimate. But keep trying.

"click bait"?

Then read the actual study...if you're capable of reading?

And I'm responding to the rank hypocrisy over the Left "complaining" about Trump's wasteful spending going to Florida, where this study reveals he's saved American taxpayers almost 100 billion!

If the Left is sincere in saving we taxpayers more money I'd join them in castigating Trump's weekend Golf flings. He doesn't need us to pay for that...and if I were advising him I'd tell him to cut it out and set a better example as we slice more waste out of the bloated Federal budget.

But I find it comical that Leftist Trump haters are still more upset over his Golf junkets under the guise of "wasteful spending" than thrilled over his cutting more than 86 billion dollars worth of waste from needless regulations!

If they're asking for credibility on this issue, they just purchased 86 billion dollars worth of fraud.

I never complained about Obama's vacation costs. I do find it highly ironic that the supporters of a President that piled up more debt than all prior Presidents combined are now worrying about our spending. Hypocrisy anyone?

It's like the whole, Mexico is going to pay for the wall rhetoric. Of course they are going to pay for it, not by writing a check but indirectly and many times over, but the left cannot understand any of this.

Hypocrisy abounds in abundance on both sides of the aisle. You know that and I know that. Do you agree?
