This is a technology that I've always thought was amazing. It's called Seadragon. It allows an the user to zoom in and out of huge amounts of visual data at any time without reloading the screen every time (watch the video and you'll see what I mean).

Anyway, AT&T apparently used this type of technology at the USC-Stanford game over the weekend. This photo is incredibly high resolution and allows you to zoom in on every single inch of the stadium. USC-Stanford Photo

all arranged to make one huge interactive photo. Some pictures are probably from pregame, some are from 1st half, some are from halftime, etc.

I would think the lightning is the only thing that limits things a bit. I could even be wrong about that.
