several people keep saying that UM has a good chance with O'Bryant. However, you can never tell. It seems like MSU was not mentioned on several prospects in the past and then they end up signing with us. Deville Smith and Arnett Moultrie have formed a very good start to the 2011 class but we could definitely use another post player whether it be O'Bryant or Adams. Although Adams is committed to Duke I have heard that the door isn't shut yet on him. With Smith's help I wouldn't be surprised if he helps us sign his buddy L Ross and that we also get Rodney Hood. The basketball staff normally keeps recruiting close to the vest and I would not expect it to be any different this year.
Smith already a Bulldog, O'Bryant is the other Big Fish, said to be leaning Ole Miss if stays in MS.
Adams says he is going to Duke unless they pull his offer, then he will be a bulldog. Ross is going to a Big East school, probably the Cuse.
I think we get Hood and Luckett, maybe Ammons.
kentucky. His AAU teammate, who is an OM recruit, said in an article he has been trying to get him to come to OM but he has too many people in his ear. All JOB talks about is Kentucky.
Smith is coming to State
O'Bryant through numerous sources has Mississippi ahead of us should he stay in State- and it's common knowledge he wants to go to Kentucky
Adams committed to Dook
Okolona kid is all OM, they have been all over him hard for 2 years now and only passing interest shown by MSU. I don't think I've ever had inside information before but this is a first time that I know more than most board readers.
the Hoyas in the mix. One would assume that eventually Kirby will utilize his connections/resources down here, unless he and Stans have a gentlemen's aggreement.
