Was just about to post the same thing. Those questions were all pretty ridiculous. The answer to them all is basically that when you sign the classes Cal signs, sometimes they may not pan out as expected. But sometimes they win a national championship. Cal does as good of a job as anyone could of getting these guys who have no desire to be in college to play within a college system.
Most of the questions were ridiculous. But Forde's premise is spot on. One bad year is an anomaly, but back-to-back NITs at Kentucky is the unforgivable sin. You don't start the year #1 and fall out of the polls.
Sometimes things don't pan out? He signs 5 5-star players a year. Most schools book a tourney bid with 1 5-star player. While the critique of the NC and role players belonging to former coaches is off-base, it points out the fact that Calipari hasn't developed talent at UK. I don't think Calipari gets the most out of them. I think that they wing it on talent alone.
They lose out, which is what they are in danger of doing, they don't make the tourneyFirst, I'm not sure where you're getting this idea that they will be in back to back NIT's.

Yeah, I'm a 17n exaggerator. That's 6 by my count.Second, it doesn't help your argument when you exaggerate. Cal has never signed 5 5-star players in one class, much less five every year. He's signed a bunch, but not five in any one class.
