He was impressive again in another way. He didn't have his best night ( I don't know the stats). He got beat up, picked off4 times (2 for sure not his fault),he ran for his life a lot,he missed passes he usually hits, his recievers dropped ballsthey usually catch, and heshook it all off and egineered a 21-20 win over Noxubee County.He is a gamer and so are his teamates. That was a sloppy game but an exciting one. Hats off toBOTH defences. Nox had a 14-7 lead at the half. The turning point was just bizzare. Nox had that 14-7 lead and a 4thand 7at their own 27. They faked the punt and got stuffed. Amory stuck it in (aided by a 4th down PI call) to tie it. They took the lead after a 50-60 yard drive after an INT. Nox scored with 1 minute remaining in the game but Amory blocked the PAT. Amory got the onside and ran out the clock. Clevelandat Amory next week.

26 of 49 for 2 TDs and 4 INTS. He scored the other TD running the ball. He had several nice runs butI imagine his rushing yards were negative because of the many sacks, most in the first half. It looked like a jailbreak up front at times in the first half. Amory's line did a lot better after the halftime adjustments.

have that excuse......Williams wasn't as sharp as usual but like you said, he literally was running for his life and two of the ints weren't his fault and another was off a tipped ball at the line o' scrimmage........I talked to two relatives of mine this weekwho are HS coaches and whomhave seen him play this year andboth agreed that he was definitely worth Mullen taking a shot at.......I think however, State wants and now thinks they have a legit shot at Liggins.......Liggins is a freak but he's a biscuit shy of being a lineman..........</p>
