We lose = Mullen loses the fan base. He had to win and he knew it. The fans have done their partso far this season. Mullen and co. now have a blueprint on what it takes to grind out a win.

Defense, special teams, and 3 yards and a cloud of dust. The more things change the more they stay the same.

Even if we had lost, we still had another 5 games we should win. But having the players go into those five games knowing they had to win them, and knowing they couldn't do the simple things to wrap up UGA and Auburn, expecting them to win all five of the games they should win would be asking a lot. I would have been scared to death of Houston, UK, and UM (especially if they were able to go in at 5-6)if we had lost to UGA.We still may slip up, as it's hard to win every game you're supposed to (especially two years in a row), but I think it's a lot more likely that we go 7-5 now thangoing 6-6 would have been if we had lost to UGA.
