Former Augusta County Coach Ron Ball has died

The local paper is reporting on the death of Coach Ball earlier this week. I believe he had stops at Wilson, Stuarts Draft and Fort Defiance during his career. I am not sure of his exact time frame but I would guess it was the 70s and 80s.

Pretty sure he was at Wilson in the late 90's and took what had been a very poor program and had some good years with them.

Yeah I realized I was off on the time frame a bit. He was from SW Virginia and started his career down there before moving up this way.
