Former Oscar Smith and Phoebus Head Football Coach Bill Dee - who won more than 250 games in a decorated career that included capturing four state titles as well college coaching stints - passed away on Thursday night at the age of 63.

Really sad news. But very few ever have the chance in life to positively influence as many kids and adults as Coach Dee did. He truly does leave a legacy.

Lord knows how much this man meant to not just Phoebus HS but to the Phoebus community as a whole. Took a lot of kids off the streets and made them into something positive. RIP Bill Dee
