Forrest Moore?

What's the deal with Forrest Moore? I saw him in B'ham at St. Vincent's Hospital a couple weeks back...never heard if he was still on the team or what kinda surgery he was having. Somebody fill me in.

He had tendonitis in his elbow, and I'm guessing that he may have had surgery on his elbow (likely Tommy John) it since he was at the hospital. Of course, he could have just as well been visiting a family member, so who knows? At one time, his plan was to not have surgery, but that could have very well changed.

As of now, he is not on the team. He is still in school at MSU, and plans to continue as a student while he mulls over his baseball future.

surgery he'd have to do anyway. Last I heard, he was gonna stay in school here, then decide what his baseball options are.

Tommy John's surgery and sit out this year with a medical redshirt.

but my gut tells me that he will probably at least try to come back. The way they have refined Tommy John surgery, it's amazing.
