I don't like rematches its very hard to beat a good team twice but if Tiller can adjust to what Dixon changes from the first game it could be a slobbernocker Dixon is very good at watching film and changing it up.
If Galax can eliminate the turnovers they've been having, play like they're capable of playing and keep the Rider kid in check they've got a real good shot to win this one. Woodlayer if Fort wins is it really an upset since they've already beat Galax? If you go by seeding I know it would be considered an upset.
I also think every George Wythe fan is pulling for fc to win. That would mean gw can host a home game. Well that's only if they can beat pm which is a tall order. Maybe fc will be holding the home game. Who knows until Friday night. But I would like to see both Wythe county schools in final 4
To doing the unthinkable, outside of The Fort. No one thinks we can get it done. From the 1st game until now, I have seen this team grow and they are playing with pride and confidence. From the coaches down to the players, this bunch has what it takes to win. Sometimes you have a team that should win and sometimes you have a team that is destined to win. This is your year. Go do the unthinkable, when it seems like no one believes in you. Believe in yourself, believe in each other. Go get it done Fort and at the end of the game you will hear. "How bout them Pioneers".
No one said it was unthinkable but you, from what I've heard most people think fort has an excellent shot of winning this game, I for one hope they're wrong and Galax can come away victorious.
Just wondering if a cloud of boom happens when you go to the toilet? Trying to figure out what your handle means. I'm going to start using that when I go take a crap. Picture this me sitting there and all of a sudden, BOOM. I just hope it's not 3 yards, that might hurt.
Fort made wholesale changes before they played Galax, with new offensive sets and moved players around. So yes, Galax was caught off guard. It was raining and wet and nasty field conditions. And Galax had a score nullified by a bad call. Video clearly shows the ball cross the goal line. I think it will be a close game like the first meeting, but I think Galax wins 21-14
Were you there. It didn't rain a drop during the game. The field wasn't muddy or anything. We won by 2 scores. What now?
Let's not cheapen the win Fort had in regular season with field conditions as officials. That was a quality (and pretty shocking) win. That said, it isn't going to happen twice. I'm going Galax by ten at least.
I must be thinking of a different game, my bad. But they did make some wholesale changes didnt they? Either way, i dont see Galax losing to them again. Might be wrong about that as well, but its no skin off my back
For sure the biggest turn around of the year in my opinion. I know the Warriors made a good showing but the Pioneers have shown that you can bring a season back to be competitive even after the season starts. Keep pushing forward young men.
