This is too funny and sad at the same time. Mullen was not mocking a religion, he was simply saying if you going to go and preach in a kids living room, then live your life the way you preached it. And I guess they have forgotten about the death threats and bashing Ligginsreceivedhuh?

Mullen was mocking their religion. You know, the kind of religion that starts at 9:59 Sunday morning and ends at 11:01. The exact religion, as this forward guys points out, is stringently followed at ole miss.

Sure, Dan may have been talking about him. But he could have also been talking about "Rev. Nutt" and all of the "helping kids" crap that he stated that was very clearly horse crap on many occassions (Masoli for instance)

It's not accurate in any manner in the way the facts are twisted. He's not mocking anyone's religion. And the way they intimated Mullen thinking he's so great ("I'm on everyone's (list)" meaning rumors always abound with him being on a hiring list when a position comes open) is another distortion at its best. Is Mullen cocky? Of course, but he's never said in a serious manner he thinks he's a top candidate for every open HC position.
It's also quite comical how the rebs are so upset at Mullen and his cockiness and how it seems to permiate his players and the fans. Isn't the cocky/eliteness a notorious attribute of the rebs? Yet another example of how that "article" is a political hit piece.

When you want to accuse someone of beating his wife, you don't make a case that the person beat his wife.
Instead, you go off on how outrageous it is that the wife has to live in fear and pain. You elaborate on how terrible domestic abuse is. You frame your argument in a way that anyone who objects must be a supporter of wife-beating, and is therefore not worth listening to.

On a real note, complaining about this kind of stuff is just pissing in the wind. And outside of a few folks here, I don't think many people consider Freeze to be Sunday-only kind of guy. If it applies to anybody, I'd say it fits Nutt the best.
