Found this Stansbury statement strange...

"Stansbury said F Elgin Bailey has completely recovered from an ankle injury, but his conditioning isn’t up to par. He said there was no temptation to put him in because he said it wouldn’t be fair to Bailey to forsake a potential medical hardship waiver."

Now really, as bad as we need post depth, if Bailey is healthy now, is it really worth not playing him so he can have an extra year later. I say we need him now and its not like he is an irreplaceable type player down the road.

could have 2 or 3 more wins than we currently have had we had a healthy Elgin all year<div>
</div><div>it would be hard to ask Elgin to do it, but I believe it would be more unfair to the rest of the players and the fans to suffer not going to the tournament if we could get there with Elgin (sure would be a better chance to get there with him than without him)</div>
