I'll bet Trump invites few of them to the White House. They'll meet. Then hold a News Conference after which Trump emerges wearing a cool pair of Sun glasses "gangsta style" and walks out with his arms folded standing behind the podium telling the Media the meeting was "hype", and the Gang Bangers standing behind him with their arms folded all nod in agreement!
Then the "fake news" crowd will claim Trump bribed them all to stop killing each other so he can sell them his Chinese made ties, and get a cut of their Drug trafficking in exchange for votes in the upcoming Congressional election.
If not that, they'll try to claim Trump is firing the Secret Service to protect him, and hiring the Black Gang Bangers just so he can improve his minority hiring and end accusations of him being a racist.

In all seriousness, do you think Trump meets with them? It would be a first, lol. My guess is the gangs may be a bit concerned about the national guard on the streets carrying very, very powerful weapons.

Needless to say I am skeptical that this will work, at least in the long-term. But if it does, a big, big win for Trump in the African-American community.
It'll be hype if it does work, and the Left will blame Blacks for being stupid and "acting against their own interests" dealing with Trump.
I shouldn't have made fun of your serious question PAX on if this will work, but I couldn't help myself. I don't think Trump will meet directly with them, especially if they're criminals. However I do think a dialogue is not only needed but desired.
More importantly, I'd keep an eye on his minority outreach I posted in detail on here a few days ago. THAT is a very powerful movement being assembled that is not getting much media attention right now (obviously) but will have far more long term impact on reversing the decline of our inner cities from crime and despair.
I believe that initiative which stresses economic self sufficiency and quality education will be far more effective and results oriented in the Black community than any "meetings" with Thugs. If Trump is successful in helping Blacks realize that they have a future through better education and job opportunities, the Left will lose their loyalty to the Democrat party and probably forever.

Agree. I love those warrant roundups where they tell them they've won something special and then cuff 'em as they come in celebrating.
