if you know absolutely nothing about what you're watching and like to be told the obvious, he's pretty good.
Chris Collinsworth. He is beyond terrible! He is the most negative announcer in the history of sports commentating. I think SNF should go a different route next year!
It's kind of their job to relate strategy and how the game is playing out to the audience. I think Joe Buck does a pretty good job because he doesn't get all emotional and yell into the mic and ****. It's play by play that you can easily tune out or listen to depending on if you want to or not.
Aikman is someone who can break down the strategy very well, without falling into the "When I was playing..." trap like a lot of former players do (Joe Theismann is the king of this).
