For what it’s worth, I have heard conflicting info on whether Prohm
is Mississippi State’s top target. I also do not believe Oral Roberts
coach Scott Sutton is a serious candidate.

With that said, here are a few names I’m keeping my eyes on in the coming days:

 • John Groce, Ohio coach
 • Chris Collins, Duke assistant coach
 • Joe Dooley, Kansas assistant coach
 • Kenny Payne, Kentucky assistant coach
 • Frank Martin, Kansas State coach

Martin’s name has been thrown out there as a wild card. I’ve also heard Baylor coach Scott Drew‘s name bandied about, but I doubt his name will get serious play in Starkville.

Also Stans made $1.5 million and Cuningham made $262K..

Stans was a weenie, Martin's a bully.

I'm all for a paradigm shift. Maybe it's what we need to keep some of these high risk recruits in line.

I'm not so sure we have a shot at gettingFrank but if we did it would be a HUGE success for our program. Frank is a Big name/ National level coach and ESPN loves the guy. I think we would have no problem holding onto recruits with him coming on broad...

He's an unbelievably good coach and obviously gets the most out of his guys. He's also night and day compared to when he's coaching and at home. Apparently he's a really good calm guy when he's away from the court.
