Frank Melton died last night...

No matter what you thought about him, not the way you want to go out... He was a good person, just did some things the wrong way and without proper authority... I think the good he did for Jackson out-weighs the bad...

He seemed to actually care about getting rid of crime. I doubt that anyone taking his place will do anything different than what was done before. I never thought it was a bad thing what he was doing. The worst thing they had on him was knocking down some crack houses. I really think there aren't enough people left in Jackson that care, most (not all) of the good people have already moved out to Ridgeland, Madison, Brandon, Flowood, or down to Byram.
