Ohio lined up for a 53 yard field goal to tie the game, and they were called for a delay of game, even though MN had called a timeout to ice the kicker. So Ohio was moved back 5 yards, and chose to throw up a hail mary, which was knocked down. Frank chewed some ***, threw his head set, and made sure to jog after the ref when the game was over to remind him of how he felt. I agree Frank, it don't make sense.

I think there was a delay of game because after the timeout whistle, the kicker still kicked the ball. This prevented the referee from setting the ball. It didn't really make sense to me either because it happens all the time, but the timeout came long before the snap and even the kick.

If that is the case, that is absolute bull ****. It happens all of the time, and not once have I ever seen that called.

Luck (or lack of it) comes and goes, but Minnesota has been extremely lucky this year. They could easily be 0-4, or at best 1-3. Ohio dropped an easy INT on the Gophers' last drive that would have ended the game. The refs then missed a blatant face mask on the KR that would have put Ohio at MN's 30. To top it off, the delay of game penalty was beyond pathetic. Gophers should have lost this game, or at least gone into OT.

I think the main thing to take away from this is MN is s@+t, not worried at all when my skers go up there.

Ha, that must be the only skers game you're catching this year? Have you seen our defense? And if we leave things to the refs up there in Minny, we might just end up with 24 penalties in the contest.

OK dude, we get it the sky is falling, you frigging drama queen. I guess I must be an old fugger, cause I saw this back in the 70s with Tom Osborne, that ended up pretty good. Riley will get this going by mid-season.

How'd you think the games were gonna go the last two years?
As long as bo was coaching? Just like they did... Cool

Seriously, I thought we would win them both. I have not been impressed with Leidner at all. His passing is not good, and his running ability won't win him he game this year.

If they get their Oline to open holes consistently enough, we are in deep trouble. But if we can control the line of scrimmage, I hunk we win he game. Leidner will not be able to pass his way to a victory.

If that doesn't get you going, you ain't a man.

Happy for his success in Ohio. Glad he's found a nice gig post Nebraska.

Hard to believe Coach Solich is 71 years old, he sure doesn't look it and I'd be more than happy if I looked to be in half as good of condition as he is when I reach 71.
