Franklin Co's (C6) road to the playoffs just got easier

Class 6 Region B voted to have 7/8 schools qualify for the playoffs, with the top seed earning a bye.

I'm usually in favor of having no more than half of the teams in the playoffs, but what the hell is the point of excluding one team?! Seven of eight - as if team seven is so much more deserving than team eight? Just let them all play, for crying out loud.

I agree. I also question whether giving team #1 a week of is a reward or a curse.
