Probably won't happen, but it is a pretty area of the state. That's why I mentioned it in the National Park threads.

I'm telling you man, had Vicksburg been named capital, and MSU located there, and then eventually I-55 had come through Vicksburg and Natchez instead........would have been awesome. You got those two places, Port Gibson, Homochitto National Forest and River, Okhissa Lake.......

Then Clark Creek right down the road. And a strip club in Woodville, if it's still kicking.

Could be interesting…

The one in Mississippi in case the folks in the Tupelo area are wondering why I’d be talking about Red Bay…
Something about “Destination” and “Mississippi” in one sentence is usually not positive in nature.

(Ex: “The Mississippi Delta is a an agrarian destination that allows one to see as far as the eye can see.”)***********

Not to highjack the thread but is the boutique hotel close to the MS Capital still there ?
Can’t remember the name of it but it
use to be a very nice hotel if you liked staying in non-chain hotels occasionally.

I’m always amazed at the amount of Europeans I meet that have been to the Delta (multiple times) more than me. And they like it.

It been in the works for years. I first heard about it probably 5 years ago. It will be a beautiful setting & should be a top notch facility. With a good restaurant, it could work. I hope it does.
