Is it in the rulebook that if you get back-to-back unsportsmanlike conduct penalties you get ejected from the ballgame? That's what the announcers keep saying, but I'm unfamiliar with this rule...

If you get two in a game, you are gone. They are football's version of technical/flagrant 1 type fouls.

ETA: also, ref got it wrong. By rule unsportsmanlike penalties do NOT offset. In this case they did, but by rule, they administer two separate 15 yard penalties depending on who started the incident. That comes into play around the goal line.

And the plays weren't back to back is what is so confusing. He spiked the ball on the good catch. Then a play or 2 later on the int he got in a shoving match with the Alcorn player. It was 2 or 3 play later I think

If he ever catches a td, he'll be ejected

He'll never score a TD because he'll start celebrating before the goal line and it'll get called back.

It'll also probably be the game winning TD against LSU as time expires.**

I had a class with him this past summer and the guy was a COMPLETE DUMBASS. It's a good thing he was really great at football in high school because that guy otherwise would have no business being in a college classroom.

Cool guy though, and after meeting him and having a class of only 15 people with him I TOTALLY see him spiking the ball the first time he catches one.

There is a fine line between playing with passion and being stupid. I have never in all my years of playing or watching seen a player ejected because of two unsportsmanlike penalties. To me, it was totally uncalled for to remotely put yourself in a position to be ejected in a blowout win like this.

Reminded me of Antonio Hargo. That waste of talent piece of **** did a back flip when he scored his first ever touchdown.
