I've said

it 1000000x times, their marketing department does an unbelievable job at putting out propaganda and cranking out BS.

Barf... have there not been enough indicators for people to see through this crap? The well documented recruiting weekends filled with drinking and sex.. Freeze cursing out the fans as he walked off of the field. the social media spat with wallace, etc, etc... I think Freeze is a good coach but I can't stand this fake holier than thou crap.

Like when he was hatin' on his own QB, throwing him under the bus, and going back and apologizing for said hatin'?

According to some of my Bear buddies the friction between Bo and Hugh is real

and goes back to Ark. St. Bo and his family did not feel Hugh was helping Bo develop his QB skills and making him a better player. It is what it is, families can be hard to deal with. In my opinion Bo Wallace has been the key to Ole Miss success, when he struggles they lose, when he plays well they roll.

I remember that being the talk during Bo's recruitment. No way he was going to go play for Freeze. he left ASU because of Freeze. Then, he commits to Freeze.

I wonder what the Wallace family is saying after those post Egg Bowl pressers.

I think Wallace looked at where his best chance to step in and be the starter from day one was and decided that he could live with playing for Freeze again since it was his only real chance to be a starter in the SEC.

There was actually a really good article preseason on 1 of the OM pay sites (Rivals I think) that detailed his recruitment. The mom and dad were sold on Mullen and wanted him at MSU. They left the decision to Bo and Frreze obviously won him back over. The parent did voice concerns with him going back down that road. The family ultimately were complimentary to Freeze. All together a great read.

I think his GF was at Ole Miss as well which may have had some impact. Overall

he has been a good fit for Ole Miss. The one I don't understand is the Buchanan kid from Prep. He just doesn't seem to be the type QB Freeze or Mullen for that matter need. I think he may regret not looking at Bama/Florida offers down the road.

Hell, Buchanan would have probably been starting for Florida this year at some point.

Looking back, Wallace coming to State would not have been good. We would have had a mess between Tyler, Dak, and Wallace. He made the right decison for him. I'm not saying he's not a good QB, just a much better fit for OM with a better opportunity to play right away as mentioned.

He may not be the type of QB Freeze needs from a football-playing standpoint. But from a major donor relationship standpoint, he was a must offer QB for Freeze. Not giving Buchanan a scholarship would be as dumb as MSU not letting John Grisham's son walk on in baseball.

im thinking we should go the other direction on this. instead of being all: "transparently fabricated love for fellow man", lets go in the completely opposite direction on this one. lets be a pro-hate school, have multiple race riots, host kkk rallies on campus, waive flags that minorities find offensive, and adopt a moniker that tips the gray cap to slavery....oh wait, ole miss already did all of that. guess we will have to find another stick.

It's a good thing for Bo that he went to OM...

He might have been injured if this punch had been from anyone but an OM guy.

Good point, I'm sure that played into

It and Buchanan followed his heart not his head.

What gets me is

without him they only win half the games they did. Who else could have? Brunetti? Please, sell on that. He's not the weapon Wallace is.The om fans throwing him under the bus and railing on him and his family after the egg saying it's his fault they lost? smart ones would be glad they had him to drag their *** to 7 wins. Them acting like they did toward him after the game is all the more reason the "we don't care as much as you" was pure ole school bunk.I don't like Wallace at all, but he played his *** off for them and was efforting. That I can respect even out of a hated bear. They are busy applauding the candy *** play of kimdashian.

That is absolute genius! (hear me out)
It has the look of a break room motivational poster. The bowed heads, the...inspiration. It's like The Hallmark Channel started making 30 For 30 specials.
There are plenty of folks out there who will eat this stuff up.
I fully expect some of my high-school friends to start posting this on Facebook, along with their normal dose of quotes that Abraham Lincoln, Voltaire and Mark Twain never actually said.
There's also plenty of people out there that think Bleacher Report is legitimate sportswriting and not primarily shoddily-written, half-assed opinions better suited to message boards (hello) and slideshows, slideshows, slideshows. They'll LOVE this.
(Here's the actual article. It walks right up to the Grantland Rice memorial purple prose line and stares squarely into the abyss of hyperbole.)
The actual quote on the poster (this is a poster, right? and not an insert from Guideposts) then insulates anybody associated with Ole Miss from criticism. It's just that society of haterzzzz coming after you!!! A subtle sprinkling of culture-wars style rhetorical smarm into college football.
It's brilliant. Only a selfish, cynical, miserable bastard would dare to think otherwise. Says so right there on the picture.
