Last week's pizza. Sweet Italian sausage, diced green pepper, (my own) tomato sauce, fresh grated Parmesan, cubed mozzarella and fresh shredded applewood smoked gruyere.

Sorry if it’s already been asked but do you have a pizza oven or just cook them in a regular oven with a pizza stone?

Last week's pizza. A Margherita pizza is pretty simple. (My own) tomato sauce, hand-sliced fresh mozz, fresh basil and a light swirl of extra virgin olive oil. Finished with course grated Romano!

Do you use San Marzano Tomatoes? I grow many of the ingredients for my sauce --Passata, first fresh San Marzano tomatoes -not that easy to grow in my neck of the woods). Fresh Basil, I dont make my own EVOO--high quality single source EVOO is critical. for other sauces, I grow about 100-150 bulbs of a few varieties of garlic, fresh grown Thyme, Sage, and Rosemary red pepper flakes ground from dried peppers (choose your heat form a variety of choices) don't grow onions.

Take home message is use only fresh! but for your passata if you havent used San Marzano---please do. your pies look absolutely fantastic!

Just one a week.

I'm tearing up Reddit today. I'm over 700 in only 5 hours. 50% more pepperoni than my last "the most pepperoni" pizza I made a couple of months ago.
