On Seinfeld, every little problem had to be amped up x100 and discussed for an entire episode. That's the formula of the show, and a weak one if you ask me. They would make every little thing become a THING. It pisses me off seeing Jerry or Kramer blow their frickin top off for an entire episode over a puny first world problem.Friends embodied the type of people that i truly hate in life

I can see why it works for some people. But for me, 9 seasons of the same petty ******** isn't a good show.Duh. That's what made the show go great.

Op drives a Prius with a co-exist bumper sticker on the back.
Hahahaa close enough. I own a '14 Prius with a 'Hilldog' sticker on the back. It's a chick magnet bro.Op drives a Prius with a co-exist bumper sticker on the back.
I liked it when it was nearly all nerd/singles comedy, but it has not aged well into its foray of family/married comedy.I don't particularly like either to be honest.
Now Big Bang Theory on the other hand... Just a great show.
Bartender bud, I'm SOOOOOO much better than a waiter. I don't wait on anybody. So we got the OP and the waiter who makes threads to determine if he should continue being a waiter at a gay key west club or change to male nurse in Tampa who are the only ones who agree.
I think the problem with Friends was the packaging. Look at the intro. The Rembrants? Guys and girls in a fountain acting GAF? I honestly believe the intro to that show alone scared droves of potential male viewers away. Also, too many story lines around the women AND about women's issues. Call me a misogynist, but male-viewer ratings don't lie.I think some of it is how old you are.
I like both. Both are different, but both are still watchable for me in re-runs now.
Top 5 sitcoms. You can't put Seinfeld in the same league as Breaking Bad, Sopranos, the Wire, etc..Seinfeld is one of the top 5 TV shows of all time, IMHO, and I hated Friends.

only thing Friends was good for was seeing Monica and Rachel's nipples through their shirts.
Seinfeld in a landslide.
IDK..Breaking bad is pretty damn funnyComparing comedies to dramas is apples to oranges. That being said, I think it's harder to make a good comedy than it is a good drama.
I'm 18, and it's rick.Sean/Rick's only experiences in life are being 19 and being a bad troll, so of course it doesn't understand well written adult humor. only thing Friends was good for was seeing Monica and Rachel's nipples through their shirts.
Seinfeld in a landslide.
N, IMO, Seinfeld is one of the top 5 TV shows ever, period. I still watch re-runs from time to time.Top 5 sitcoms. You can't put Seinfeld in the same league as Breaking Bad, Sopranos, the Wire, etc..
I'm 18, and i'm sick.
I'm not.Sorry to hear that man.
Friends was a great show and Seinfeld sucked. The dialogue on that show was awful..Seinfeld himself is not funny and never will be. After reading the sports boards and seeing how some people think, it is no surprise that this poll had people choosing the wrong show.Seinfeld is ok, preferred Friends though. Yes I realize my opinion sucks but it's mine and I don't give a **** what you may think.
Wow. That was nearly interesting.Friends was a great show and Seinfeld sucked. The dialogue on that show was awful..Seinfeld himself is not funny and never will be. After reading the sports boards and seeing how some people think, it is no surprise that this poll had people choosing the wrong show.
