Friends embodied the type of people that i truly hate in life
Obvious troll is obviously trolling. Seinfeld in a landslide.
The better poll question would be which of those two shows had the hotter chicks.

When you factor in the guest star appearances it becomes a much closer race. I would give the edge to Seinfeld with this factor included. Jerry ran through a ton of hot chicks on that show.

On Seinfeld, every little problem had to be amped up x100 and discussed for an entire episode. That's the formula of the show, and a weak one if you ask me. They would make every little thing become a THING. It pisses me off seeing Jerry or Kramer blow their frickin top off for an entire episode over a puny first world problem.
I can see why it works for some people. But for me, 9 seasons of the same petty ******** isn't a good show.

Seinfeld is ok, preferred Friends though. Yes I realize my opinion sucks but it's mine and I don't give a **** what you may think.
I liked it when it was nearly all nerd/singles comedy, but it has not aged well into its foray of family/married comedy.

I think the problem with Friends was the packaging. Look at the intro. The Rembrants? Guys and girls in a fountain acting GAF? I honestly believe the intro to that show alone scared droves of potential male viewers away. Also, too many story lines around the women AND about women's issues. Call me a misogynist, but male-viewer ratings don't lie.
Seinfeld is one of the top 5 TV shows of all time, IMHO, and I hated Friends.
Top 5 sitcoms. You can't put Seinfeld in the same league as Breaking Bad, Sopranos, the Wire, etc..
I'm not a huge SIenfeld fan.. but I think you can make an argument it's top5 shows. I'd put it over the Soprano's, if for no other reason than the last few season of The Sopranos.
Comparing comedies to dramas is apples to oranges. That being said, I think it's harder to make a good comedy than it is a good drama.
Sean/Rick's only experiences in life are being 19 and being a bad troll, so of course it doesn't understand well written adult humor. only thing Friends was good for was seeing Monica and Rachel's nipples through their shirts.

You know how to watch the tv shows Sean, you don't know how to comprehend the tv shows, and that really is the most important part. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
N, IMO, Seinfeld is one of the top 5 TV shows ever, period. I still watch re-runs from time to time.
Friends was a great show and Seinfeld sucked. The dialogue on that show was awful..Seinfeld himself is not funny and never will be. After reading the sports boards and seeing how some people think, it is no surprise that this poll had people choosing the wrong show.
