Another big number 11

UT, Auburn, Kentucky are 0-11 in the SEC this year ...we still haven't proven what we are, yet

People forget though that the teams Tennessee has played are 11-1 in SEC play. That's tough. Now they get an undefeated Alabama and a tough SC team the next two weeks. That schedule is brutal.

I almost looked at that stat, but I figured aub and kentucky would skew it...

I think TN battles Vandy for the 4th spot in the East, but right now I would have to lean towards Vandy ...Tenn defense and turnovers always get them in bad positions, but with their special teams and Patterson I guess you can never count them out.

UT got no breaks having to play MSU and Bama from the West to factor in with USC, Fl, and Georgia...

Every SEC team has a brutal schedule at some point in the season. Ours is the last 5 games. UT is in their tough stretch but they end with Missouri, Vandy and Kentucky.

We've proven we're at worst a 3rd tier SEC team when Tobias isn't playing (assuming Bama is 1st tier by themselves, then LSU, UF, USCe in Second tier, with UT, UGA, A&M in 3rd tier.

It'd be nice to find out if we're a second tier team when Tobias is on the field. I think we are, although if our run defense in the second half Saturday wasn't a result of scheming to focus on the pass, maybe not.

We played the PERFECT defense on UT. We sold out to stop the pass and made them run. Sure, they had some success on the ground but we held one of the best QBs in the SEC to his worst career day. One thing I love about our coaching staff, they seem to put us in a position to win by playing against the team we are playing instead of stubbornly sticking with "their scheme".
