New AU wrinkles?: Tuberville hinted at some new wrinkles being installed for Mississippi State come Saturday.

"We're not going to hold our guys back and we've added a few things this week," he said. "We're going to try to make our offense and our defense better. It's going to make things a little more complicated, but nothing that we don't think we can handle."</font></p>

then opens it up during conference play. I kind of thought this was common knowledge, but if not, there it is.

that the great Coach Crooms is the only one smart enough to hold back parts of his offense for the first SEC game of the season did you? Especially against someone who beat you last season. Anybody thinking they will overlook us is crazy...I'm betting Tubby tries to make a statement...

Except for McCorvey. That stupid mother17er has been running everything in his book...including the double reverse flea flicker against SELA...what a moron

I love how Croom THIS WEEK said "We have pretty much done everything in the book" or something to that extent. I like Croom, I really do, but I think he is learning year by year how to be a head coach. Recruiting, discipline, clock management, playbook instillation and on and on. How long will it take?

Do you seriously think we have shown everything in 2 17ing weeks? Croom has done a lot of stupid ****, but I'm pretty sure that it's common knowledge not to show everything until conf. play.

I don't think Croom, as dumb as many think he is, would tell the public that we have not shown everything. Whether it works or not, you want your opponent to "think" you've run your offense and the film they have on you these first two games shows ALL of your tendencies and formations. Wouldn't it make more sense to say we've shown everything and keep everyone actually wondering whether or not you have?

<font face="Georgia" size="2">• Croom laughed at a question that asked whether he had held anything back and saved it for Auburn, game plan-wise: "They probably have seen all we've got," he said.

Thats from Veazey's blog dumb ****. Croom said it himself. I for one don't believe him. I think he is just saying it to play games with Auburn or at least I hope he is.</font></p>

I'm pretty sure it's common knowledge you don't know what the +#*% you are talking about.</p>

So you think we've shown everything we have, and you're pissed about it and use it to be critical of Croom? Or do you think Croom was just saying this to maybe mislead the opposition? I'm not sure, given your later response.

It comes off as if you are saying that Croom hasn't learned not to show his hand. You just keep *** groping innocent girls at frat parties dip ****. I'm sure the girls flocked to you after you have grabbed their *** when trying to get around your douche bag ***.

I'm not sure what to believe anymore. Hell I didn't BELIEVE we would lay an egg in Ruston. I don't know what Croom feels comfotable calling with Wes at QB. All I can go by is what he says in the media. Half of what he says in the media is true and half just seems to be bull ****. If we are 2-0 comming into this game I still don't know if I would believe him or not. I don't think the media means **** to Croom.

I just hope he is lying when he said what he did because if he isn't then we are in deep ****.

I think he may have been referring to the past 4 years and the past two games. If so I understand it. What do you think?

Hell, I'm still trying to find your point in this argument. Your first post your blast Croom for saying that he's said he's admitted to giving up everything we have. Then you agree that he may have been posing for the opposition. Give me an opinion, and I'll argue it.

I was just pointing out what Croom said and regardless if it is true or not I don't think it is a good thing to say. The blog that was just pointed out shows that we are working on new trick plays but that really doesn't tell me much. The pattern of play calling has been pretty predictable up to this year. When we pass more than we run at La Tech that has everyone scratching their heads.

I just think that saying we have shown all we are have is insulting the intelligence of a coach like Tubby and could prove to be detrimental to certain players on the offense.

I think the basis of my original reply was that Tubby will use this game to make a statement.

It's really not worth debating besides the dumbass that thought my post about grabbing *** was a serious post.

I did it and never got roughed up on the way out. Hell, it usually led to some of my more memorable nights. You got to be more subtle Chris, look for the lonely 6 to 8 sitting by herself. Wait for the right moment, close in, and go for it. Expect about a 60 percent success rate</span></span>
Yeah, because this post here is screaming with sarcasm.

a <17ing> miracle!
How many games...excuse me, .....<17ing> YEARS does it take to realize that we are VERY INEPT on offense and that we will NEVER, NEVER have a profilic offense under McCorvey and Croom.
Defense, maybe a pretty good one on occasion but the O will be very BELOW AVERAGE!
Sorry to spoil your hope parade guys but it just is not going to happen!

So the premise of your point is that Croom showed too much. Then you say he could have been saying something to mislead the other team. Then you say that is "insulting to Tubby."

Them you say "I'm speechless."

I'm speechless as to your ignorance and general eagerness to say negative things about our school and our coaching staff.

I figured that. I'm just still trying to figure out the point of your original post. Was it that Croom was stupid to admit he'd given everything out about our playbook? Or as you ask later, was that just a diversion, as your second post said? Or is it all just a plot that Tubby will easily recognize, as was your third option? I'd be careful about choosing that last one, because you certainly don't seem to know what's going on.

and tells the world that we won't kick to their ace return man. This may seem insignificant but it has the potential for a huge strategy advantage for Auburn. Croom, in his total honesty, once again proves how naive he is.

I guess we're going to have him McShank it out of bounds 15 yards down field? Maybe punt 12 yards it into the back of the gunner defender's helmet again?

I figured Dunn will be good for at least 1 punt return for a TD. Considering, I have no faith in McShank to be able to kick away from Dunn.

to punt 5-10 times. That's way too many opportunities for at least one colossal f-up, like a patented 27 yard line drive with 0.8 seconds hang time.

I wouldn't put it past Tubby to run SOL play.

I hope we do it first. Hate it when people call us copycats.

a friend of mine is friends with someone on the O-line at Auburn and said they were only running about 20% of their offense and were going to really open it up against LSU next week to show them stuff they had not seen in the first few games. This sort of keeps in line with that rumor.
