Moving the ball and not scoring is almost worse than getting shut down. Missing the PAT, the fourth down, the FG, etc.

It looks like the players and coaches are trying to get lucky. I'm not sure they're going all out.

I don't agree that a new head coach is the answer right now, but we desperately need an offensive architect to kick some asses starting yesterday.

The reason I disagree about the head coach is that I cannot envision us dumping Croom now, going through a hiring process, getting turned down a few times,

finally finding someone, and then coming out better off than we are now. Maybe I'm wrong.

We have been close in this game, the Auburn game, plus we should have beat La Tech, of course. But the one inch line don't get it. You got to punch the

damn ball in.

Edit to add this: Carlson is the one who screwed up the play to win, but we've got to remember the eleven guys on offense and their coaches, and how their
failure to make plays put AC and us in that position. The people that need to question themselves are Woody, Croom, and whoever else was calling plays and
"motivating" the offense. Adam C screwed up, but the points we left on the field take the game off his foot in a big way.

And he wasn't the one that failed to get him a last chance too. I think that sucks because a hell of a lot of football teams get the ball downfield in that
position. But we ran it like we'd already given up. Of course, fans giving up does not help the team motivate. But that's life in the big city. Ladedah
