Guys, I know that our fan base and baseball following is second to none , BUT i honestly cannot understand the abysmal showing of FSU fans for a home regional as a seeded participant. At game time, it was warm, partly cloudy and for all intents and purposes, a perfect Saturday for baseball yet there looked to be less than 1000 in the stands. Tallahassee is 10X the size of Starkville. Seeing that, .... make me so proud to be an MSU fan with the support that we provide to our teams. There is no reason why any coach in the world wouldn't look at what we have to offer and jump at the possibility. Hail State!

...FL sucks at actually attending baseball games.

Throw in that Mike Martin is a clown show once the regular season ends, and there you have it.

College baseball is a minor sport. We probabaly care more about it than any other school. There probabaly aren't 10 schools that even come close, and 7-8 of those that do are in the SEC.

At the 1990 regional in Starkville they announced the attendance for a Mississippi State/Florida State game, and Mike Martin came out of the dugout to applaud the fans for their support.

Even the Marlins and the Rays are only 27th and 30th out of 30 in MLB attendance.
