Reasons not to be:
Lot of games left to be played
Lot of time to improve and get better
LSU may be the best team in the country and/or best we play all year
Talent isn't beating us, errors and mental mistakes are

I'm very concerned too, but here's a few reasons I think we'll get better:
1. Wes rea is back in lineup. His bat is much needed and he'll bail out our infielders on some of their wild throws.
2. Brandon woodruff will stabilize our weekend rotation when he gets back. This is more hope than fact. We've got to get Evan Mitchell in bullpen. When he starts, we use our bullpen too much. Right now, Ross Mitchell is off limits Friday night and Sunday because he has to pitch so much on Saturday.
3. Haven't we gotten better as season's gone on with Cohen the last two years? Hopefully, Cohen will find the right buttons to push soon.
If we get win today, we're fine.

I felt that way watching all the Stans meltdowns for the past few years. No matter what happens or how good we are, I just have no real attachment to the outcome of basketball games.
Seems like a couple of times in the 90s, we started off the SEC slate getting swept at the hands of Florida. Just like then, we will get swept today but finish SEC play around .500.
I still don't understand your meltdown. We have only 4 losses, 2 were in extra innings. All four losses were to very good teams. We have great pitching, much better hitting this year, and we will improve which we do every year under Cohen. We will be a good team.
