The negative about this though is MM is one more spot up the draft probably 42-40! Can’t afford for too many more to come out. . We may get one and lose him because of it. I don’t think we need a “source“ to tell us that the staff is desperate to find a wing. That’s common knowledge for any fan that’s paying attention.

Yeah, it wasn't breaking any major news, but I thought it fit with the disorganization our portal seasons seem to be.

During the season you could see how exhausted Pope was and you could just feel that the whole team just wanted the season to be over. Pope probably dreamed of a fresh start with a loaded roster, he freely let Jasper and Garrison,and Jela, and Mo leave, just knowing that we would replace them with better players. Well, that hasn’t happened. An offseason that could have been a fresh start and a chance at redemption will turn out to be the final nail in Popes UK coaching career. We may and I stress may have upgraded the 4 position. The rest is a wash at best, and last years team should have lost 16 games.

I can’t imagine going through this every season with recruiting.

It is by far the worst recruiting of any UK basketball coach in my lifetime.

Pope isn‘t suddenly going to become a great recruiter like he isn’t suddenly going to become an elite coach.

We have 2 good wings in Kam & Hawthorne. We have 3 good guards in case we go to a 3 guard small lineup. Some say O Nidaye can play the 3.
lets sign another Junk Yard Dog inside & a Swiss Army knife swing player & go win 26+ games.

Kam struggles to create and attack the basket off the dribble. I'm afraid Hawthorne will be the same. I'm inclined to agree. Just go after a versatile wing or junk yard scrapper. (Josiah Parker is my realistic option)

However, there's no way we win 26 games. I'm optimistically predicting 19-12 reg season.

I'm not laughing at you I'm laughing at the whole damn situation.... I just can't believe all the powers to be counting the money people would let UK even be in our current state of affairs. We are downright pitiful to be honest!
