For argument sake let's take a look at where the Bulldogs would stand minus the Auburn outing, which is proving to be the exception... not the rule.

State allowed rushing totals of 62 yards against Jackson State and 33 and 30 in the last two games (41.7 ypg). The total offense numbers against State aside from the Auburn game are 194, 157 and 263 (204.7 ypg). Both of those averages would be good for second nationally. As it is, MSU's defense ranks 31st in the country in total defense and 56th against the run.

i get it, but it's not a very good analogy. he can defend it sort of, then it'll turn into a message board intellectual pissing match then everyone will feel proud and hate each other, so just take my word for it. i feel proud and i hate everyone

I mean, if not for the South Carolina game, UM would be #4. See how that works?

SEC games:

Average Crxxm score: 15-27.
Average Mullen score: 22-27.

That's a 47% improvement in offense and no change on defense.
