Fyfe most likely going to start today in his last home game as a senior. I am predicting he will have a great game today and silence his critics. Go get 'em Ryker!
Wouldn't it be funny if he gets the start and the offense actually looks great and say they score 42+ on Maryland. I wonder if people will want him or Tommy to start vs Iowa.

He will make a few mistakes, but there's no need to get fancy here. Fyfe will do enough as will the rest of the team to get a victory today. Might be close, so don't bite off all your fingernails.

If the line protects Fyfe and opens holes for the running game, then I think Fyfe will have a good game passing the ball. But if we can't run the ball and the line allows pressure in passing situations we will be hurting without Tommy's legs.

But I think the line comes together today in the last home game and knowing that they have to take charge.
I am optimistic

As General Maximus would say, "Hold the Line."

Great soundtrack too!

Fyfe can get it done!

Not to highjack but speaking of movies,,,, watched The Insider the other day. Nebraska references kinda pissed me off. Like Al Pacino says, "What are you doing in Lincoln?"
"Oh, wer'e geologists." In other words, digging up dirt. Forgot about how it was really us against the world back then.

So for everyone begging to run run run, you may note the Huskers best half was when they passed 20 times and completed 14 (I believe) when putting up 21 points. Not claiming they should have kept that up in the second half, but the reality is that this team can't simply pound the rock to victory. They need the passing game and Fyfe did a nice job.

I agree. But after our last score in the third quarter I thought Fyfe's passing got more erratic.

First battle of the movie when he's ridding on his horse with his men he is heard yelling that over and over. watched it last night :)
Doesn't something similar happen when they do like a war reenactment in the coliseum and he is trying to convince the other slaves to work together? I'm going to have to watch that again, great film.
