that Shell has the best beer selectionIs there even a place to get good po-boy bread?
But also... I've always wanted to buy the Chevron across from the Lakeside Mart (Shell) at Grants Ferry and Spillway. PoBoy's and beer (with help from the guy that run's the Shell because they have everything).
Until I got to know Master Hoshizaki, I had no idea patent of an ice cube design is a huge deal.I can tell you that Hoshizaki is worth it...
Yuup, we call it, “The Beer Store.” The Chevron across the street has good BBQ, but real man BBQ, not low T, soy boy, watermelon infused ribs type stuff.that Shell has the best beer selection
Logan Farms in Maywood Mart used to use this bread but I don't know if they still do. And Po-Boys aren't their specialty. Is there even a place to get good po-boy bread?

Don’t you have an employee that could fly down with you to load it all in a Uhaul and drive it back? Y’all could make it a Guy’s road trip!Sheesh. I wish I was closer. Most of that stuff is currently at 10 cents on the dollar to what it costs new.... Globe, Beverage Aire, Robot Coupe, Perlick, Southbend, Hoshizaki, Alto-Sham... That's all top of the line stuff.
Alive but don’t know about kicking. Just more of an avid reader these days.I know nothing of what you speak, just glad to see you post & are alive & still kicking.
Sensei of the Takagure dojo?I can tell you that Hoshizaki is worth it...

They went through a patch several years ago where it was pretty rough, but I believe they changed ownership because things turned back around again. About the only place I go out to eat for seafood. Service can be spotty sometimes due to short staff, but the food is good.Sal and phils used to be the place for a good po-boy
To me the bread definitely makes a good Po Boy. Anyone from Applebees to the gas station can fry a decent shrimp or build a good roast beef, but if the bread ain’t right, it’s just terrible. Either like razor blades to the roof of the mouth or a soggy mess. Bread is the key base.I have a dream of opening a po-boy place in Jackson that uses this bread. Sounds like the creditors didn't like them selling their collateral out from under them.
I'm always interested in how something like this can happen. Assume they do this all the time and would be the first thing on the check list.Sounds like the creditors didn't like them selling their collateral out from under them.
I haven't been there in probably 20 years, but Sal and Phils was the place.Sal and phils used to be the place for a good po-boy
